38-2251. Adjudication. (a) If the court finds that the child is not a child in need of care, the court shall enter an order dismissing the proceedings. (b) If the court finds that the child is a child in need of care, the court shall enter an order adjudicating the child to be a child in need of care and may proceed to enter other orders as authorized by this code. (c) A final adjudication or dismissal shall be entered within 60 days from the date of the filing of the petition, unless good cause for a continuance is shown on the record. |
