John Goodyear, General Counsel, League of Kansas Municipalities (Attachment 3)
Colonel Herman T. Jones, Kansas Highway Patrol (Attachment 4)
Opponent
Nick Reinecker stated he is an opponent to this bill for one reason. Dangerous drugs, as defined on page 2, lines 11 through 13, does not include, alcohol, aspirin, or cough syrups including those with dextromethorphan. Knowing that the lethal dose of these substances is far less than cannabis could ever be. His opposition to this bill could be subsided by changing the word dangerous to controlled or illegal. Mr. Reinecker stood for questions. (Attachment 5)
