Chairperson Bowers opened final action on SB427. Charles Reimer, staff revisor, reviewed the bill.
Senator Thompson moved to recommend SB427 favorably for passage. Due to an amendment by Senator Francisco, Senator Thompson withdrew his motion.
Senator Francisco distributed and explained a balloon amendment. (Attachment 1) Senator Francisco moved, Senator McGinn seconded, to adopt the balloon amendment. After discussion, motion carried.
Senator Francisco moved, Senator Thompson seconded, to recommend SB427 as amended, favorably for passage. Motion carried.
