The Chairperson opened the hearing on HB2564.
Eileen Ma, Office of Revisor of Statutes, presented an overview of the bill. (Attachment4)
Ms. Ma stood for questions.
The chairperson moved to testimony and welcomed Mandy Rowe, Chief of Staff at the Kansas Insurance Department, speaking of behalf of Lee Modisett. She stated this is a bill that the department brings annually to simply change the date from 2020 to 2021 and that it is a accreditation requirement that has to be done every 5 years. (Attachment5)

Representative Miller motioned to suspend the rules and work the bill. Rep. Bergquist seconded. Motion carried.
