Chairperson Hilderbrand called attention to HB2279 for reconsideration. He stated that after passage of HB2279 in committee on March 24, 2021 a small correction needed to be made.
Jenna Moyer, Staff Revisor gave a brief overview of the bill.
Chairperson Hilderbrand moved to reconsider passage of HB2279, with a second from Senator Thompson. On a voice vote of aye, the motion passed. An amendment was offered to correct line 27, to restore language that had been mistakenly removed. (Attachment 6) Chairperson Hilderbrand moved the amendment, with a second by Senator Gossage. On a voice vote of aye, the amendment was adopted. Chairperson Hilderbrand made a motion to pass HB2279 as amended, with a second by Senator O'Shea. On a voice vote of aye, the motion carried.
