Chairperson Hilderbrand called attention to SB212 for final action. Jenna Moyer, Staff Revisor gave a brief overview of the bill.
Senator Steffen offered an amendment that would insert the language of SB213 as well as a balloon amendment. After much discussion and numerous questions, (Attachment 7) Senator Steffen moved his amendment with a second from Senator Thompson. On a voice vote, the amendment passed with no votes recorded from Senator Pettey, Senator Holscher and Senator O'Shea. Senator Thompson moved to pass SB212 as amended, favorably for passage, with a second by Senator Steffen. On a voice vote, the motion passed with no votes recorded from Senator Pettey and Senator Holscher.
