Chairperson Bowers opened the hearing on HB2050. Jason Long, staff revisor, presented a briefing on the bill.
Justin Stowe provided proponent testimony on HB2050. Mr. Stowe explained in 2018 the Legislature moved oversight of several financial audits from their office. Mr. Stowe indicated there are some lingering statutory report requirements that agencies submit to them they no longer need or use. Mr. Stowe stated they are asking that they be removed as a report recipient. (Attachment 2)
