Representative Esau moved, to amend the bill (See Balloon), seconded by Representative Johnson. Following discussion, the maker of the motion and the second agreed to modify the proposed balloon amendment to remove the words "full time" and to provide the Revisor with latitude to adjust the wording as needed to reflect the intent of the amendment to apply the maximums only to the two exceptions included in the amendment and to include vocational and GED training within the amendment. On a division vote, the motion to amend passed:8 Yays and 4 Nays. (Attachment 1)
Representative Ousley moved, seconded by Representative Hoye, the bill be passed as amended. Following discussion, the motion passed; 7 Yays and 5 Nays. Representative Waggoner, Johnson, Penn and Moser, wanted their votes of 'No' to be recorded.
