Mr. Siebers provided an overview for HB2239 that would extend the corporate net operating loss carryforward from losses incurred in tax year 2018 and thereafter.
Representative Helgerson moved, seconded by Representative Poetter, the Committee recommend HB2239 favorable for passage.
Representative Helgerson made a substitute motion, seconded by Representative Poetter to amend HB2239 with Net Operating Loss Rolling Conformity. (Attachment 3)
Discussion followed by Committee members.
Representative Helgerson closed on the amendment. Motion passed.
Representative Helgerson renewed his motion to recommend HB2239 favorably for passage as amended. Motion passed.
