Chair Jennings called for discussion and final action on HB2277. Natalie Scott, Assistant Revisor, reviewed the bill.
Representative Patton distributed a proposed balloon amendment. Natalie Scott discussed the recommended changes. (Attachment 13)
Representative Patton moved, Representative Owens seconded, to adopt the amendment. The motion carried.
Representative Owens moved, Representative Patton seconded, to recommend HB2277, as amended, favorably for passage. Motion carried.
Representative Highberger and Owens requested their 'Aye' vote be recorded. Representative Carmichael requested his 'Nay' vote be recorded.
The next meeting will be Wednesday, February 24, 2021.
