Chairperson Hilderbrand opened the Hearing on SB120.
Jenna Moyer, Staff Revisor gave an overview of SB120. (Attachment 2) She answered questions from committee members.
Secretary Laura Howard presented her proponent testimony. She stated that she has made transparency and collaboration two of her top priorities and in the spirit of these priorities DCF supports SB120. She said she looks forward to working closely with the legislature and the joint committee on child welfare oversight to continue to improve supports for Kansas families. (Attachment 3)
Secretary Howard answered questions from committee members.
