Chair Jennings opened the hearing on HB2083.
The revisor gave an overview of HB2083 and the affected statute. (Attachment 5) Questions from the Committee were addressed.
Scott Schultz submitted a Prison Bed Space Impact Assessment and testified in support of HB2083 to appoint members from the House corrections and Juvenile Justice committee and the Senate Judiciary committee. (Attachment 6) (Attachment 7) Questions from the Committee were addressed.
There was no opponent or neutral testimony.
Chair Jennings called for final questions from the Committee.
The hearing on HB2083 was closed.
