Chair Jennings opened the hearing on HB2081.
Natalie Scott, Assistant Revisor, gave an overview of HB2081. (Attachment 1) Questions from the Committee were addressed.
Scott Schultz submitted a Prison Bed Space Impact Assessment and testified in support of HB2081 stating this is a technical bill amending sentencing rules commonly referred to as Special Rules. (Attachment 2) (Attachment 3) Questions from the Committee were addressed.
Written testimony in support of HB2081 was submitted by Amanda G. Voth, Chief Deputy, McPherson County Attorney (Attachment 4)
