Chairperson Patton opened the hearing on HB2050. Natalie Scott provided an overview of the HB2050. (Attachment 8) Ms. Scott answered questions from the membership.
Proponent
Chris Clarke testified in support of HB2050. (Attachment 9) Mr. Clarke explained the bill will remove his office from reports no longer needed. Those reports are: an actual expenditure statement from the Board of Indigents Defense Services, an accounts receivable write-off report from the Department of Administration, the corporation financial report from Regents Institutions, and the tax abatement report from the Department of Revenue.
