Representative Ken Rahjes, 110th district, gave oral proponent testimony to the committee endorsing the foundation of an FFA distinctive license plate(Attachment 2).
Beth Gaines of the Kansas FFA Foundation provided verbal testimony in favor of HB2201 as the National FFA Organization supports agricultural education, leadership development and fosters skills in career readiness for young leaders. (Attachment 3)
Mike Smith of the Kansas FFA Foundation expressed strong support in favor of the bill as it would provide support and funding for agricultural students' scholarships and educational leadership programs across the state.(Attachment 4)
Sage Toews, KSU student, gave the committee oral proponent testimony in favor of HB2201 as the distinctive license plate would promote the FFA program increasing awareness and support for agricultural education.(Attachment 5)
Tucker Leck, FFA president of Neodesha, gave the committee oral proponent testimony in favor of HB2201 as it symbolizes the shared pride of Kansas heritage and supports the next generation of future leaders in the state.(Attachment 6)
Joe Newland, president of the Kansas Farm Bureau, gave impromptu oral testimony to HB2201 speaking in support of and to the history of of the FFA organization itself..
