Representative Keith Esau, Chair, requested the will of the Committee with regard to SB394.
Representative Jesse Burris moved the Committee adopt an amendment proposed by Representative Esau, copies of which were provided by Mr. Heim (Attachment 1).
Representative Carpenter, Vice-chair, seconded the motion.
Representative Vic Miller, Ranking Minority Member, moved the Committee adopt a substitute amendment, seconded by Representative Carpenter, Vice-chair.
There was discussion on the amendment by the Committee.
Representative Miller closed on his substitute amendment.
The substitute amendment was passed unanimously by the Committee.
Representative Esau, Chair, directed the attention of the Committee back to SB394.
Representative Carpenter, Vice-chair, moved the Committee pass SB394 favorably for passage as amended, seconded by Representative Miller, Ranking Minority Member.
Representative Parker moved the Committee adopt an amendment, copies of which were provided by Mr. Heim (Attachment 2).
Representative Pam Curtis seconded the motion.
There was discussion on the amendment by the Committee.
Representative Parker, closed on his amendment.
