Chairperson Tyson opened a hearing on HB2416.
Pat Jonas presented testimony to the Committee in support of HB2416 because the bill "implements a new approach to increase employment for Kansans with disabilities that incentivizes private sector taxpayers to subcontract work to nonprofit entities". (Attachment 1) He stood for questions.
Senator Mike Petersen presented testimony to the Committee in support of HB2416 because "having a good job with health insurance benefits gives many disabled residents independence, quality of life, and can save State dollars". (Attachment 2) He answered questions.
