Chairperson Tyson opened a hearing on SB445.
Senator Molly Baumgardner presented to the Committee an explanation of SB445 and testimony in support of SB445. She answered numerous questions from the Committee. No written testimony was provided.
Mike Burgess presented testimony to the Committee in support of SB445 by explaining "Federal tax reform changes included several changes to make ABLE accounts even more accessible for people with disabilities". (Attachment 7) He stood for questions.
Scott Gates presented testimony to the Committee in support of SB445 by offering testimony from the State Treasurer. (Attachment 8) He stood for questions.
