Chairperson Lynn opened the hearing on SB 434 and requested Revisor Chuck Reimer to provide an overview of the bill.
Chairperson Lynn recognized Patrick Warren, Kansas Speedway, who provided testimony in support of the bill. He urged the Senate to incorporate the items suggested in his testimony. (Attachment 10)
Senator Suellentrop asked how Mr. Warren's organization captures information concerning where the event attendees are coming from. Mr. Warren replied zip code data from credit card information from ticket sales is a primary source of this information.
