Chairperson Bowers opened the hearing on HB2628. Mike Heim, staff revisor, presented a briefing on the bill.
Heather Morgan testified in support of HB2628 stating this bill only applies to the Pratt Airport Authority and the City of Pratt. Ms. Morgan indicated this bill clarifies what would need to happen if the City ever wanted to abolish the Pratt Airport Authority and take it over. (Attachment 1)
Chairperson Bowers recognized Senator Taylor to provide follow-up on the bill. Senator Taylor stated anything we can do to move our communities forward and provide a basis for economic development is what we're asking for. No written testimony was provided.
