Chairman Wilborn opened the hearing on HB2567 - Amending criminal code rules for determination of an offender's criminal history classification. Jenna Moyer provided an overview and answered questions from the committee. (Attachment 4)
Scott Schultz spoke in favor of HB2567 and indicated it is a technical bill defining how to classify criminal history in certain situations. The Sentencing Commission worked together with other interested parties to the develop the language at the request of the appellate court. (Attachment 5) Mr. Schultz answered questions from committee members.
There being no other conferees, the Chairman closed the hearing on HB2567.
