Matt Sterling, Revisor of Statutes gave an overview of HB2470 regarding alcoholic beverages; microbreweries; contract brewing. (Attachment 1)

Proponents
Representative Francis Awerkamp, offered testimony in support of HB2470. This bill would allow one brewery to work with another brewery to make each others beer. He noted that currently if the law doesn't say you can do something, then you can't. (Attachment 2)

Philip Bradley, Kansas Craft Brewers Guild, offered testimony in strong support of HB2470. (Attachment 3)
Sean Willcott, Willcott Brewing, spoke in favor of HB2470 noting that it would add value to the industry. Currently contract brewing is not legal in Kansas. (Attachment 4)
