Chairperson Aurand called for final action on HB2602.
Representative Dietrich moved to replace HB2602 with a Substitute (18RS3272). Representative Dierks seconded.
Jason Long introduced the Substitute bill which would replace the previous early screening bill on dyslexia with a substitute that creates a legislative task force on dyslexia. (Attachment 13)
Representative Dietrich explained that all stakeholders with interest in this bill have been part of the process and support this solution.
Representative Powell moved the Committee pass Proposed Substitute for HB2602 favorably. Representative Schrieber seconded. Motion passed.
