Jenna Moyer gave an overview of HB2709. The Committee had questions and comments.
Kim Park testified on behalf of the Kansas County and District Attorney's Association in support of HB2709 stating this bill allows for a enhanced penalty when the exposure is imposed upon an person who does not consent. (Attachment 1)
Janet Leonard testified in support of HB2709 with a personal testimony as a grandmother and mother expressing lewd and lascivious behavior is a serious crime which shattered her daughter's life. (Attachment 2)
Written testimony was submitted Representative Abraham Rafie in support of HB2709. (Attachment 3)
Chairperson Jennings called for final questions from the Committee and then closed the hearing.
