Chairman Wilborn opened the hearing on SB372 - Clarifying the definition of the term "possession" in the Kansas criminal code. Jenna Moyer provided an overview of the bill. (Attachment 1)
Kim Parker spoke in favor of SB372 explaining the bill was proposed to deal with confusion among jurors when trying to understand the difference in the two definitions currently in law. Ms. Parker answered questions from the committee. (Attachment 2)
There being no more conferees on the bill, the Chairman closed the hearing on SB372.
