Chairman Estes opened the floor for action on SB328.
Senator Rob Olson moved to adopt the balloon amendment, seconded by Senator Lynn Rogers. Motion passed. (Attachment 4)
Matt Sterling, Revisor of Statutes, asked for time to revise the structural changes to this balloon.
Senator Rob Olson moved to pass SB328 favorably as amended, seconded by Senator Lynn Rogers. The motion passed on a voice vote.
The committee also gave Matt Sterling the latitude to do what he needs to do to make the language work as the committee intends.
Senator Jeff Longbine moved to accept the amendment, seconded by Senator Rob Olson. Motion passed.
Senator Rob Olson moved to pass SB328 as amended, seconded by Senator Lynn Rogers.
Senator Caryn Tyson asked the chairman to hold the bill for 24 hours.
Motion passes as amended.
