Natalie Scott gave an overview of HB2603. The Committee had questions and comments.
Tim Madden testified on behalf of Secretary Joe Norwood of the Kansas Department of Corrections in support of HB2603 stating the department is of the opinion that it must and therefore has credited such time to service of the Postrelease Supervision Period and that jail credit should not be awarded to the the new pending criminal case. (Attachment 17)
The Committee had questions and comments.
