Natalie Scott gave an overview of HB2608.
Representative Debbie Deere testified in support of HB2608 stating this bill is to allow a quit claim land transfer between the Kansas Department of Corrections and Fire District 1 of Leavenworth County. (Attachment 7)
Fire Chief Rick Huhn testified on behalf of the Fire District One of Leavenworth County in support of HB2608 requesting the transfer of land from the Kansas Department of Corrections to the Fire District One of Leavenworth County, being beneficial to both. (Attachment 8)
Chairperson Jennings called for final questions from the Committee and then closed the hearing.
