Chairperson Tyson opened a hearing on SB346.
Adam Siebers presented to the Committee an explanation of SB346. He stood for questions.
Senator Taylor presented testimony to the Committee in support of SB346 by requesting a sales tax exemption to assist construction of a grocery store in St. John. (Attachment 1) She stood for questions.
Carolyn Dunn presented testimony to the Committee in support of SB346 by detailing the various types of revenue sources St. John has already created "to supplement the town's 1% sales tax" for constructing a viable grocery store in the community. (Attachment 2) She stood for and answered numerous questions.
No testimony neutral to SB346 was presented to the Committee.
