Chairperson Kelly opened the hearing on HB2448.
Representative Russ Jennings testified in support of HB2448 stating that adoption of the bill would lead to a more stable workforce in Kansas' prisons and provide an employee benefit that acknowledges and addresses the life implicatons for employees who serve in this public safety role. (Attachment 2) Rep. Jennings responded to questions from the Committee.
