Chair Osterman opened the hearing on HB 2465 and recognized Jenna Moyer, Assistant Revisor of Statutes, who briefed the committee on HB 2465. (Attachment 4) A question and answer period followed.
Proponents - Chair Osterman recognized Gregg Burden, Director, Kansas Commission on Veterans Affairs Office, who expressed his continued support for the quarter million veterans in the State of Kansas, pointing out that drug screening efforts for KCVAO employees, could provide further protections for our men and women living in the Veterans Homes in Kansas.
