Chairperson Vickrey opened the hearing on HB2469.
Jason Thompson, Office of Revisor of Statutes, presented a bill brief for HB2469. (Attachment 2)
William Sneed, The State Farm Insurance Companies, testified in support of the bill. Mr. Sneed responded to questions from the committee members. Jason Thompson responded to questions from committee members. (Attachment 3)
Eric B. Smith, The League of Kansas Municipalities, testified in support of the bill. Mr. Smith responded to questions from Representative Roger Elliott and Representative Tim Hodge. (Attachment 4)
Clark Shultz, Assistant Commissioner, Kansas Insurance Department, testified that the Insurance Department supports this bill. (Attachment 5)

Chairperson Vickrey appointed Representative Daniel Hawkins as chairperson of the subcommittee in regard to HB2104. Representative Hawkins announced there will be a meeting of the subcommittee on Thursday, January 25, 2018, at 9:00 am in room 281-N.
Chairperson Vickrey adjourned the meeting at 10:09 am.
