Chairperson Barker opened the hearing on SB202. Jason Long, Revisor, provided an overview of the bill (Attachment 1).
Chairperson Barker recognized Jeff Chanay, Chief Deputy Attorney General, as a proponent of SB202 (Attachment 2).
Jordan Brewer, Assistant Attorney General, testified as a proponent (Attachment 3).
Mark Dodd was recognized by Chairperson Barker as a proponent on SB202 (Attachment 4).
Chairperson Barker called on Whitney Damron, but he was not present. His testimony has been provided to the Committee (Attachment 5).
Chairperson Barker opened the floor for questions from the Committee to the conferees. Questions were asked by Representatives Whitmer and Osterman.
Chairperson Barker asked if there were any other persons wanting to testify. Seeing none, the hearing on SB202 was closed.
