Chairperson Barker opened the hearing on SB135.  Jason Long, Revisor of Statutes, provided an overview of the bill (Attachment 6).  Questions were asked by Representatives Carpenter, Ruiz, and Whitmer.

Chairperson Barker recognized Breana Berroth as a proponent of SB135  (Attachment 7).  Representative Highberger questioned her concerning the difficulties in the hiring procedures for classified employees.

Chairperson Barker asked if there were any other questions.  There were none.  He asked if there were any other conferees on SB135.  Seeing none, he closed the hearing on SB135.
