Minutes Content for Wed, Apr 5, 2017
Chairperson McGinn opened the hearing on HB 2356. Chuck Reimer provided an overview of the bill. (Attachment 8)
Natalie Bright spoke in support of the bill as it will change the re-certification of businesses to every three years instead of every year and will add another agency for certification, which will encourage more businesses to participate in the program. (Attachment 9)
Pat Terick testified as a proponent of the bill and supports the amendment that would allow businesses to certify every three years instead of every year as the employees currently have to go to their physician every year to have their disability verified. (Attachment 10)
