Chairperson McGinn opened the hearing on HB 2280. Scott Abbott provided an overview of the bill and responded to questions from Committee members. (Attachment 1)
Representative Jim Ward spoke as a proponent of the bill as it would provide for equity on the Joint Rules and Regulations Committee and the State Rules and Regulations Board. He believes it was an oversight that no minority party legislators were members and this bill will insure fair representation. Representative Ward responded to questions from Committee members. (Attachment 2)
There being no further conferees, Chairperson McGinn closed the hearing on HB 2280.
