Chairmman Waymaster opened the hearing on the bill.
Jill Wolters, Office of the Revisor of Statutes, presented the bill brief and responded to questions from committee members(Attachment 1). The bill amends the Kansas Expanded Lottery Act and the Kansas Parimutuel Racing Act concerning racetrack gaming facilities and lottery gaming facilities.
Mark Dapp, Legislative Research Department, presented an overview of the fiscal note (Attachment 2) and responded to questions from committee members.
Representative Hibbard presented testimony as a proponent of the bill (Attachment 3).
