Chairperson LaTurner opened the hearing on SB 226:
Senator Anthony Hensley stated that the major portion of the services the State Library provides is to the Kansas Legislature. Therefore, the most appropriate place for the State Library is under the Legislative Branch (Attachment 6).
Jo Budler testified neutral on SB 226 and gave a list of the services provided by the State Library (Attachment 7)
