Chairperson McGinn opened the hearing on SB 190. Steven Wu provided an overview of the bill.
Written testimony in support of the bill was submitted by Stephanie Bunten, Office of Judicial Administration. (Attachment 5)
Chairperson McGinn moved, Senator Kelly seconded to insert the contents of SB 190 into SB 189. Motion carried.
There being no further conferees, Chairperson McGinn closed the hearing on SB 190 and announced the Committee will begin working the bill next Monday.
Chairperson McGinn drew members' attention to a document from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, which provides responses to questions regarding the KDHE lab. (Attachment 6)
Chairperson McGinn adjourned the meeting at 11:20. The next meeting will be March 20, 2017.
