Chairperson McGinn opened the hearing on HB 2129. Scott Abbott provided an overview of the bill. (Attachment 3)
John Milburn testified in support of the bill, which would give flexibility to the Secretary of Administration to waive energy audit requirements when entering into leases for property where the energy costs would be small or non-existent. This would apply to leased property and not state-owned property. Mr. Milburn responded to questions from Committee members. (Attachment 4)
