Mr. Wells provided an overview on HB2381 noting the amendment is on Page 37 and would provide a sales tax exemption for the land institute
Ms. Smith provided the fiscal note for HB2381 estimating a loss of $40,300 in sales tax based upon the sales tax exemption for the land institute. This would be $33,800. to the state general fund and $6,500. to state highway fund and a potential loss in local sales tax in the amount of $6,200.
