Chairperson Bowers opened the hearing on HB2102.
Representative Highland testified in support of HB2102, stating that current law requires the county commission to meet on the first Monday of every month. Representative Highland presented this bill to amend the current regulation to require that county commissioners meet once a month, the day of their choosing. (Attachment 1)
Melissa Wangemann testified in support of HB2102, indicating that it will help clarify the current law and make sure the public is aware that county commissioners can set the day and time of their meetings. (Attachment 2)
After some discussion, Chairperson Bowers closed the hearing on HB2102.
