Chairperson Barker opened the hearing on HB2366. Chris Waggoner, Revisor, provided an overview of the bill (Attachment 1).
Chairperson Barker recognized Doug Taylor of Alcoholic Beverage Control who testified as a proponent of HB2366 in place of Director Debbi Beavers (Attachment 2). There were no questions.
Chairperson Barker stated that the other proponent, Tuck Duncan, has been delayed so he recognized Amy Campbell as a neutral on behalf of the Kansas Association of Beverage Retailers on HB2366 (Attachment 3). Chairperson Barker made some comments. Questions were asked by Representatives Smith and Weber.
Chairperson Barker recognized Tuck Duncan who testified as a proponent on HB2366 (Attachment 4). Representative Ruiz had a question for Mr. Duncan.
Chairperson Barker asked if anyone else wanted to testify. Seeing none, he closed the hearing on HB2366.
There being no further business to come before the Committee, the meeting was adjourned at 9:35 a.m.
