Vice-Chairperson Barbara Bollier opened the hearing on HB2027.
Scott Abbott, Staff Revisor, gave an overview of the bill.
Rachelle Colombo presented testimony in support of HB2027 stating that passage of this bill will protect patients from improper billing practices, provide greater transparency and will eliminate a barrier to medical retainer-type practice models. (Attachment 2)
After questions from the committee, Vice-Chairperson Bollier closed the hearing on HB2027.
The annual report from Buddhadeb Dawn, MD of Midwest Stem Cell Therapy Center was distributed to committee members. (Attachment 3)
