Chairperson Bowers opened final action on SB132. Mike Heim, staff revisor, reviewed the bill. Mr. Heim explained that the balloon amendment which was distributed at the hearing for SB132, needs a correction on Line 34 and 35 to strike the words "governor, state librarian, subject to approval by the," making it read, "board of county commissioners of the county of residence of such appointee."
Senator Fitzgerald moved, Senator Hardy seconded, to adopt the amendment as explained by the revisor. Motion carried.
Senator Fitzgerald moved, Senator Doll seconded, to recommend SB132 as amended, favorably for passage. Motion carried.
