Chairman Kerschen called for final action on SB47. Tamera Lawrence of the Revisor of Statutes Office presented a brief overview of the bill. After a few questions to clarify definitions in the bill, Senator Esters moved and Senator Francisco seconded the bill. Discussion was then called.
Senator Rogers presented a balloon amendment which he explained. Discussion followed. (Attachment 1)
Senator Rogers moved and Senator Francisco seconded the adoption of the proposed balloon amendment. Motion carried.

Senator Rogers moved and Senator McGinn seconded the adoption of he proposed balloon amendment. Motion carried.

Senator Pyle noted that he had asked for research on information relating to pet fees and at this time he had not received any information.
Since the time for the committee meeting was over and there were still more proposed amendments to be introduced, Chairperson Kerschen suspended action on the bill until a later date.
Chairperson Kerschen adjourned the committee at 9:30.
