Chairperson Bowers opened the hearing on SB132. Mike Heim, staff revisor, provided a briefing on the bill and addressed questions from the Committee.
Senator Fitzgerald testified on SB132. Senator Fitzgerald distributed and explained a balloon amendment to the bill. (Attachment 2) Senator Fitzgerald stated that the bill removes the power from the Governor for appointment of various regional library board members and gives it to the county commissioners within the region. (Attachment3)
Senator Fitzgerald addressed questions from the Committee.
