Chairperson LaTurner opened the hearing on SB 83.

Greg Noll spoke in favor of SB 83.  The bill will not change licensing or training requirements currently in place for any other company or individuals who sell propane in Kansas.(Attachment  8)

Doug Jorgensen also spoke in support of SB 83. The bill clarifies the definition of "retail distribution of liquefied petroleum gas" to exclude the resale of prefilled tanks containing no more than 20 lbs.(Attachment  9)
