Chairperson Tyson opened a hearing on SB97.
Adam Siebers presented to the Committee a description of SB97. He stood for questions.
Senator Tom Holland presented testimony in support of SB97 by requesting "exempting new vehicle sales or lease cash rebates" from sales tax. (Attachment 4) He stood for questions.
Don McNeely presented testimony in support of SB97 by asking to "reinstate the sales tax exemption associated with motor vehicle manufacturer rebates". (Attachment 5) He stood for questions.
Ken Fohger presented testimony in support of SB97 by providing information regarding surrounding states' retail sales tax. (Attachment 6) He stood for questions.
No testimony neutral or in opposition to SB97 was presented to the Committee.
When all questions from the Committee were answered, Chairperson Tyson closed the hearing on SB97.
