Natalie Scott gave an overview of HB2181.
Katie Whisman testified in a neutral position of HB2181 on behalf of the Kansas Bureau of Investigation. Whisman stated their efforts have far exceeded that which would be required by this bill and are demonstrative of their commitment to proactively evaluate this issue and work collectively with their partners to not only address the statewide inventory but to also make recommendations to prevent a similar accumulation in the future. (Attachment 1)
Written only neutral testimony of HB2181 was submitted by Ed Klumpp on behalf of the Kansas Association of Chiefs of Police, Kansas Sheriffs Association, and Kansas Peace Officers Association (Attachment 2) and Joyce Grover and Jessica Naternak on behalf of the Kansas Coalition Against Sexual and Domestic Violence. (Attachment 3)
